About the Position: This position is located at 96TH Medical Group, Eglin AFB, Florida. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Participate in the design and fabrication of very complex dental prostheses or intra-oral maxillofacial appliances in support of oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, general dentists and medical specialists.
- →Accurately develop precise occlusion, form, and color to match porcelain and/or acrylic restorations to natural tissue and dentition.
- →Construct special dentures for severely tilted or mal-opposed teeth.
- →Check for correct occlusion of prostheses by mounting on articulators.
- →Resolve technical problems with unusually close tolerances, retention, and balance on natural teeth and tissue.
- →Fabricate working and master dies, physically or digitally.
- →Conduct classroom and laboratory instruction for dental laboratory technicians at lower grades.
