You will serve as a DATA SCIENTIST in the COMMAND DATA ANALYTICS OFFICE of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for directing, coordinating, monitoring, and managing the information technology (Al) transfer program areas.
- →Develops sound data lifecycle process models that outlines the methodology to gather and store data, in its original form process and convert the raw data into clean, organized information; develop tools and processes for analysis.
- →You will conduct extensive studies and comprehensive analysis of functions, methods, procedures, and practices pertaining to new and/or improved business processes within the logistics community.
- →You will perform staff functions in a command headquarters where the resulting products /recommendations have significant impact.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position.
- ✓The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. or Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
