What You'll Do
- →WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Data Scientist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Developing and implementing advanced analytics and predictive modeling tools.
- →Applying data science, statistical, machine learning, and artificial intelligence methods to analyze data and generate insights.
- →Using survey data, health care data, electronic records, vital records, and unstructured data sources to conduct analyses.
- →Collecting, linking, processing, mining, coding, classifying, and analyzing public health surveillance, survey, research, and administrative data.
- →Working closely with Data Scientists, Mathematical Statisticians, Health Statisticians, Computer Scientists, Computer Programmers, and subject matter experts.
- →Collaborating with statistical, data science, artificial intelligence, and public health professionals on research and analytics projects.
- →Producing reports addressing substantive data science issues, methodologies, results, and recommendations; Prepares presentations and briefing materials for scientific staff, federal, state, and local partners, and health officials.
