About the Role

This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure CDC, SAC, and Youth Services programs maintain high standards.
  • Oversee classroom environments, equipment, scheduling, curriculum, inclusion, and safety protocols to minimize abuse risks.
  • Design and run classroom and hands-on training.
  • Evaluate staff and provider progress quarterly.
  • Develop parent education resources and advocate for proper development practices to parents and leadership.
  • Help secure and maintain DoD certification and national accreditation.
  • Lead the training and program portions of inspections, analyze performance scores, and draft corrective plans with management.
  • Ensures accurate prompt customer service Manages program to budget.
  • Conducts written analyses of budget variances, and prepares justification for funding of program resource requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proof of education is required at the time of application.
  • Note: Education must be directly related to the position to be filled.
  • General Education courses do not count toward the credit total.
