This position is located at the CYS Child Development Center (6 wks-5 yrs), Sierra Army Depot, CA. Morale Welfare & Recreation Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: Available to MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours) First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses - See Additional Information for more details.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent is responsible for the administration of the facility to include implementation of budgeting and financial management, personnel management, program operations, special needs, and compliance, among other tasks.
- →Serves as a first level supervisor for assigned staff.
- →Supervises staff to include assigning work, conducting performance reviews and approving leave.
- →Makes decisions on work and administrative issues presented by subordinate supervisors.
- →Ensures the implementation of a developmentally appropriate CYS program that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of children and youth.
- →Provides program oversight and accountability for the performance of employees and the safety of children in accordance with Federal, DoD, Service, and local policies and standards.
- →Ensures the program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Prepares and executes Appropriated fund (APF) and Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) budgets for the center.
