About the Role

This position is located at: Outdoor Recreation - Fort Hood, Texas. Outdoor Recreation at Fort Hood offers high-energy, customer-focused outdoor adventures including paintball, boating, hiking, camping, fishing, and family-friendly events. The team supports Soldiers and families with safe, fun, hands-on activities that build morale, resilience, and community connection.

What You'll Do

  • Independently performs customer service relations work that contributes toward the well-being of both civilian and military guests and the protection and safety of these guests, other employees and government property.
  • Uses tact and diplomacy to deny entrance to unauthorized personnel or to remove those not adhering to rules and policies, including those whose dress or manner does not meet prescribed standards.
  • Checks membership cards of persons entering the facility.
  • Ensures that patrons comply with applicable rules and standards.
  • Reports incidents to proper authorities.
  • Maintains assigned area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Ensures compliance with fire, safety and security standards.
  • Maintains log of authorized visitors and checks to ensure visitors are authorized entry.
  • May operate a motor vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
