About the Role

This position is located in Division of Rulemaking, Environmental, and Financial Support. This job opportunity announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies within the agency. This position IS subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position IS subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.

What You'll Do

  • The successful candidate will perform the full range of duties.
  • This position involves formulating and recommending NRC policy and positions relating to the conduct of regulatory analyses.

  • Basic Requirements Degree: economics, that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.
  • OR Combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
  • You must include an unofficial or official copy of your college and/or university transcripts with your application.
  • Transcript must include the School Name, Student Name, Degree and Date Awarded (if applicable).
  • Education must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.
  • If you have multiple degrees (e.g., BS, MS, PhD) please submit transcripts for each degree.
