This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT). As a Contracting Officer Representative, GS-1101-13, you will oversee the assignment of work to various contractors providing the Agency with information technology (IT) support, ensuring that the work is properly performed, commensurate with established guidelines, regulations, and departmental and Agency directives.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Level III on multi-million dollar information technology (IT) and non-IT contracts, managing the full contract lifecycle.
- →Prepare all required contract documentation (Statement of Work (SOW), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), acquisition plans.
- →Lead procurement initiatives including chairing Technical Evaluation Panels (TEPs).
- →Analyze and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of IT programs and operations using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- →Develop rationale and make recommendations for projects being on-boarded in the agency's infrastructure; weighing risks and short and long-term impacts.
