About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Fort Liberty, NC.
What You'll Do
- →Issues solicitations, evaluating proposals, contract negotiations, execution, and administration for complex and technical services and special assigned programs, in support of the US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) mission.
- →Serve as a Senior Contracting Officer responsible for the full range of pre-award and post-award contract functions Compiles contracts involving social/economic considerations, development costs for minority/disadvantaged contractors, terms and prices, difficult to define scopes of work, legal conditions, and rigid deadlines causing additional complications.
- →Develops systems for evaluating and monitoring performance of contractors.
- →Provides guidance to team members regarding all contract functions.
- →Performs detailed analysis of bids received, ensuring strict compliance with specifications on advertised procurements and recommending award to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
- →Develops procurement plans by reviewing previous history, market conditions, and specifications or technical data packages.
