This vacancy is for a GS-1102-9/11, Contract Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC MED ENDR CUTTER PL PROC SEC in BALTIMORE, Maryland.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Contract Specialist and be responsible for supplies and services in support of the vessel maintenance program..
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Typical work assignments include: Analyze requirements, and recommend statements of work specifications on contracts.
- →Determines method of Procurement, either formally advertised or negotiated.
- →Prepares solicitation assuring all applicable laws and regulations are followed.
- →Analyzes bids received for responsiveness, determines contractor responsibility and makes Contract Award within delegated limit of authority.
