About the Role
This vacancy is for a GS-1102-12, Contract Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC SHARED SERVICES PROCUREMENT SECTION -SFLC-CPD-C and P3-SSP in BALTIMORE, Maryland.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Contract Specialist and be responsible for the development of acquisition strategy through contract execution, contract administration and contract closeout.
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Typical work assignments include: Initiation of and the recommendation of awards following through to the procurement of items or services.
- →Performs contracting work through use of negotiation techniques..
- →Prepares written request for proposal, publicizes the requirement, issues the solicitation document.
- →Performs detailed contract administration activities.
