About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Contract Specialist, GS-1102-12 position for USACE, Tulsa Contracting Division, located in Tulsa, OK
What You'll Do
- →Perform a full range of contract functions encompassing issuing solicitations, evaluating proposals, contract negotiations, execution and administration for complex and technical services and/or Construction and A/E programs.
- →Perform detailed analysis of bids and proposals received, ensuring compliance with specifications on advertised procurements.
- →Perform cost and price analysis for all negotiations to determine fair and reasonableness of price.
- →Utilize innovation for strategic decision-making in the acquisition process.
- →Perform contracting functions of higher than usual complexity, such as contracting functions where no contractual precedence exists.
