About the Role
About the Position: The U.S. Army Contracting Command was established on March 14, 2008. The mission of the ACC is to oversee more than $85 billion in contracts annually and focus on maintaining and improving the Army's ability to respond globally in support of the warfighter's needs.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze the requirement, determining the type of contract, establishing acquisition milestones and preparing the procurement plan.
- →Perform pre-award and post-award functions including negotiation and administration to completion or termination of multi-year, high dollar value contracts.
- →Negotiate changes in the terms of the contract to include specifications, delivery schedules, payment, and shipping points.
- →Request cost price analysis and reviewing cost breakdowns to establish reasonableness of price.
- →Analyze bids and proposals for conformance with the solicitation.
