What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will join the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), District of Hawaii, Administrative Division.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Performing pre-award and post-award work on a variety of contract actions.
- →Reviewing requisitions to determine appropriate methods of procurement.
- →Drafting Statements of Work (SOW) or Statement of Objectives (SOO), and other documents necessary prior to formal solicitation.
- →Evaluating proposals, unsolicited proposals and other bid documents to determine fairness and reasonableness.
- →Performing acquisition contract support for pre-award and post-award actions of complex professional services and equipment requirements for the USAO.
- →Developing and maintaining familiarity with Government contracting procedures, business practices, the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other regulations, policies, and procedures.
- →Developing and documenting acquisition strategy for procuring supplies and services that may require a variety of specialized handling provisions, terms, and conditions.
- →Reviewing requisitions and determines appropriate contract type, competition requirements, contract vehicle and applicable FAR authorities.
- →Preparing all solicitation documents necessary to support a variety of contract actions.
- →Monitoring contractual milestones.
- →Reviewing technical and cost evaluation reports for accuracy and completeness.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
- →This position is considered a career ladder opportunity, with a full performance level of GS-11.
Requirements
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education.
- ✓For a list of schools that meet this criteria, see http://www.ed.gov OR Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
