What You'll Do
- →Performs cradle-to-grave contracting actions including acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation and cost/price analyses, negotiations, contract award, modifications/amendments, terminations, closeouts, and contractor performance reviews.
- →Prepares solicitations, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Invitations for Bids (IFBs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to include clauses, award factors, and specifications to comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- →Monitors solicitations, issuing amendments, answering potential offerers' questions, and assuring that all suppliers are treated equally to maximize receipt of competition and minimize protests.
- →Formulates negotiation strategy and identifies areas subject to negotiation.
- →Conducts extensive negotiations before and/or after contract award; negotiates required changes as necessary.
- →Handles complex, controversial post-award actions and problems, justifying and explaining issues and positions, and solving particular contractual problems.

- ✓GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
- ✓Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis.
- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
