About the Position: Incumbent to serve as Contract Services Representative for the Directorate of Resource Management located at the Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River, in Patuxent River, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Manage contract requirements, coordinate Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS) preparation, monitor contract performance, and ensure contractor compliance.
- →Review requisition package for adequacy and completeness of description, consistency, and compliance with administrative, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
- →Provide guidance to customers in the development of the statement of work/performance work statement and data requirements.
- →Determine appropriate contract type and method of procurement based on the nature of service required, estimated cost, and applicable procurement policies and regulations.
- →Evaluate prospective contract price utilizing basic price analysis techniques to analyze contracts by research and review of available historical data.
- →Perform detailed analysis of responses to solicitations, including price, requests for pre-award surveys, adequacy of competition, and compliance with solicitation.
- →Analyze annual Government Purchase Card (GPC) expenses to identify potential contract opportunities to minimize GPC usage for recurring costs and initiate required contract actions for eligible recurring services.
