About the Position: This position will serve as a Contract Price/Cost Analyst within the Pricing Division, Mission Operations Directorate. Management may select at either the GS-11 or GS-12 grade level.
What You'll Do
- →Determine admissibility of proposed cost elements for fixed price and cost type contracts.
- →Recommend cost limitations to be imposed based on the reasonableness of profit or fee.
- →Provide recommendations to the Contracting Officer for negotiating adjustments of the contract price.
- →Evaluate contractor’s financial data to determine need for government financing.
- →Administer advance or progress payments to minimize risk to the government.
- →Serve as Field Pricing Specialist.
- →Maintain contact with representatives of contractors and various Defense Department Administrative and Audit Agencies.
- →Determine final profit based on incentive contract sharing provision stated in the contract.
- →Negotiate settlement agreements.
- →Serve on Source Selection Evaluation Boards
