What You'll Do

  • Subject Matter Expert in all areas of contract cost and price, including direct labor, direct material, other direct costs, overhead bases, overhead pools and profit calculation.
  • Utilizes forecasting patterns in the contractor's business environment to project costs for contracts extending over a period of years in which precedent or historical date is not available.
  • Creates tools such as cost models and data bases to develop negotiation positions and conduct cost realism analyses.
  • Leads Overhead Should Cost Review (OHSCR) analysis of contractor forward pricing rate proposals and the efficiency of the contractor's operations.
  • Develops schedules, distributing tasks among team members and/or sub-team leads and makes adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities and time constraints.
  • Ensures that each team member has an integral role in developing the final team product, builds and mentors teams and interfaces with contractor leadership teams.
  • Coordinates, reviews and integrates team member analyses of cost elements and risk areas into a comprehensive report.
  • Briefs complex reports to senior military leaders and Government executives.

  • Department of Education.
  • Licenses must be current at time of application.
  • GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
  • Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis.
  • If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
