About the Position: This position is located at 673rd Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change.
What You'll Do
- →Assist management in developing and identifying near and long range plans to meet Defense Health Agency (DHA) service contract requirements.
- →Independently initiate and complete initial review of contract packages.
- →Provide advice to staff regarding the generation of contracts and conduct all phases of reviews or continuing assignments.
- →Track contract packages to ensure they are complete and sent to various contracting offices timely.
- →Serve as the subject matter expert of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Program by providing program oversight and ensure the Functional Requirements Evaluator Designees (FREDs) are managing appointed contracts.
- →Perform quarterly contract file audits to be presented to the supervisor to ensure the Logistics Flight Medical Squadron (MDS) is meeting Manager Internal Control Program (MICP) requirements.
- →Manage contract project milestones and budgets from planning through initial operations.
