This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as project coordinator with full responsibility for the surveillance of assigned construction projects.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as technical specialist for quality assurance and surveillance of construction.
- →Reviews final plans and specifications for construction feasibility and practical accomplishment, and interprets technical portions for other participants.
- →Provides oversight and inspection of construction operations to ensure proper quality and quantity of material and equipment, workmanship, adequacy of contractor's methods, etc.
- →Performs technical duties including review of shop drawings, preparing response to contractor inquiries, as well as, performing the following work related to contract modifications.
- →As Resident Office Safety Officer, responsible for the strict enforcement of safe practices and safety regulations.
