The Conference Service Manager oversees conference and special event operations, supervising staff and coordinating schedules, logistics, and audiovisual support. The position serves as the primary liaison for customers and management, ensuring exceptional service and efficient event execution. Responsibilities include managing conference equipment and inventory, maintaining facilities, developing procedures, training staff, and supporting VIP visits while ensuring operational readiness.
What You'll Do
- →DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages and supervises all aspects of the conference and special event support activities.
- →Coordinates responsibilities for conference operations and contract staff.
- →Responsible for the coordination of work schedules, training, development of SOP's, etc.
- →Responsible for evaluating work requirements and conference schedules.
- →Schedules must effectively utilize manpower assets in the most efficient manner.
- →Must work independently to accomplish mission requirements with minimum guidance from supervisor.
- →Serves as primary liaison with AFRC management, conference, and hotel guests for conference, special events, support activities, and all customer service-related activities associated with functions and conferences.
- →Responsible for all aspects of the inventory system for all conference property, including fixed and perishable items.
- →Responsible for maintenance, technical input concerning new purchases, ordering equipment, and overall upkeep of all conference areas and equipment.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓High School graduate or equivalent.
- ✓All candidates (to include current employees) are required to include transcripts with their application package.

- ✓Only education from accredited and pre-accredited institutions will be accepted.
