This position is located inJoshua Tree National Park, in the Division of Visitor and Resource Protection.
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties include: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and contract provisions in order to monitor compliance by commercial service operations.
- →Participate in commercial services planning in order to provide necessary and/or appropriate services through concession contracts and CUA's.
- →Critically review and evaluate required reports, programs, documents, and other data to confirm compliance with terms and conditions of the contract.
- →Collects and monitors contractual, operational and safety performance data of concessioners.
- →Provides assistance to park managers and staff regarding commercial services.
- →Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
Requirements
- ✓Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓Direct Deposit participation required.
