About the Role
You will serve as a Computer Scientist in the Specialty Cyber Branch in the Digital Engineering Division, at NAWCAD NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
What You'll Do
- →You will develop advanced concepts of automation and information processing display, control and transfer.
- →You will serve as the scientist responsible for the development of a specific model of equipment or group of related components.
- →You will work on varied, complex equipment systems and subsystems and demonstrates competence and creativity working in areas that require the employee to develop or test new equipment, material, or concepts.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess: Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
- ✓At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
- ✓All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
