This position is part of the Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Department of the Interior (DOI). As a College Resident Assistant you will be responsible for providing assistance in the daily operations of the Residential Hall Program.
What You'll Do
- →As a College Resident Assistant, GS-0303-5, your typical work assignments will include the following under supervision: Participate in promoting student involvement opportunities in various engagements in campus student organizations.
- →Assist in planning and implementation of education and recreation programs for residential students.
- →Provide guidance regarding college rules, policies and procedures.
- →Prepare and maintain administrative documents.
- →Monitor student activities to identify problems or potential problems.
- →Must be available for rotational work assignments and holiday staff coverage.
- →Assignment to a specific shift cannot be guaranteed.
- →Incumbent will be scheduled on rotating shifts as needed to provide residential hall coverage over a 24-hour period, seven days a week, with the possible exception of school breaks.

Requirements
