This position will be assigned to the JBSA Randolph Clubs. This is a flexible category position with no guaranteed hours, may work up to 40 hrs./wk. Scheduled as needed. Employees appointed to a flexible (intermittent) category position are not eligible for benefits.
What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is to provide support and assists the Club Manager in the economic and efficient operation of the club.
- →Monitors operations of a club or assigned area, normally during the absence of the manager and assistant manager and normally at night or on weekends.
- →Serves as a person in charge of the club during assigned shifts, maintaining the overall security of the club resources, including cash, controlled forms, consumable products, non-consumable products, fixtures, and furnishing.
- →Responsible for issuing, receipt, and control of cash boxes.
- →Prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift.
- →Reviews the scheduled functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensures they are carried out as planned by management.
- →Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that club rules, regulations, and established procedures are followed.
- →Responsible for conducting club card checks.
- →Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems.
- →Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift.
- →Completes all closing checklists, including sanitation, fire, and security, and prepares a report of all significant occurrences during the shift.
- →Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift.
- →May be required to work as a window cashier.
- →When workflow exceeds scheduled manpower, this position will ensure that other personnel in the club are temporarily shifted to assist the understaffed area.
Requirements
- ✓Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
- ✓This position does not allow for education substitution.
- ✓FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
- ✓You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
- ✓It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
