This position is assigned to the Club Division; Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department; Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo. The incumbent is responsible for management of the assigned club and provides technical guidance and supervision to club personnel involved in performing routine segments of the assigned work.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, schedules, coordinates and directs work of subordinate club personnel: Directs work to be accomplished by staff.
- →Assigns work based on priorities, difficulty and requirements of assignments, and staff capabilities.
- →Conducts annual performance reviews of NAF staff.
- →Participates in section staffing decisions.
- →Ensures staff receives proper training to fulfill requirements of their positions.
- →Addresses potential disciplinary and/or performance issues timely and takes appropriate, corrective action(s) as necessary.

- →Plans, directs and manages a well-rounded club program which includes dining, social and recreation events.
- →Interprets club policy and determines methods and practices required to complete; and maintain social and recreational programs and activities.
- →Uses initiative, judgment and originality in food and beverage planning, merchandising and control.
- →Applies existing guidelines and develops own supplements and procedures for use by the staff to evaluate patron needs and interests.
- →Takes corrective action as required to ensure accuracy of data and effectiveness of the system.
- →Promotes effectiveness and efficiency within the club using strong organizational and budgetary guidelines.
- →Develops strong internal controls to provide reasonable assurance of accomplishing management goals and objectives.
