About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Clinical Psychologist (Pediatrics) provider for the U.S. Army Health Clinic Stuttgart carrying out duties in accordance with generally accepted psychological theories, methods, techniques, and practices for children, adolescents, and family members. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Screen and interview children, adolescents, and family members and utilizes psychometric instruments in the assessment of psychological disorders typically affecting children and adolescents.
- →Assess and provide crisis intervention for children, adolescents, and family members undergoing unusual psychologically related stresses.
- →Provide individual, couple, family, and/or group psychological counseling utilizing a variety of treatment modalities for child, adolescent, and/or family psychological diagnoses.
- →Evaluate overall effectiveness of therapeutic efforts.
- →Develop objective treatment processes, procedures, goals and plans for patients.
- →Maintain patient care documentation in accordance with Hospital and DoD/Federal Regulations and professional ethics.
- →Educate and train primary care physicians and other professionals in the screening, prevention, early identification, and treatment of behavioral health disorders within the primary care setting.
