About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Clinical Psychologist within the Mental Health Department at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Determine mental health diagnoses in accordance with the most recent version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
- →Assist with the treatment of patients with known high-risk factors such as suicide, history of trauma, and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- →Provide evidenced-based individual treatment and group therapy for patients.
- →Educate clinic staff on the principles of mental health via trainings and briefings.
