About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Irwin Army Community Hospital in Fort Riley, Kansas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation position Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.
What You'll Do
- →Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose mental health interventions.
- →Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- →Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- →Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- →Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
