About the Position: The Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant) provides support to the Behavioral Health Mental Health Services in Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia, helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose mental health interventions.
- →Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- →Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- →Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- →Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
