About the Position: This position is located at 375th Medical Group at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Ensure validation process of information system is performed in accordance with compliance regulations and all other systems meet the College of American Pathologist (CAP) standards.
- →Ensure the security requirements are not compromised on any terminals within the Clinical Laboratory.
- →Provide training to laboratory personnel on the use of the laboratory information system.
- →Respond to requests from supervisors or management that will provide operational information, improve workflow or quality improvement processes.
- →Maintain accreditation with all external agencies.
- →Identify auditable processes and assist supervisors in developing/monitoring indicators (observations, statistics, or data) that typify the performance of a process.
- →Evaluate the quality of laboratory services concerning adequacy of personnel, equipment, working environment through on-site inspections and/or the review of reports.
- →Use data and reports from the hospital information systems to identify and research problems.
