About the Position: This position is located at General Leonard Wood Community Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform initial medical review of donor/patient records, ensuring complete and accurate documentation of procedure.
- →Evaluate, recruit, schedule, and select potential blood donors for allogeneic whole blood collections by applying medical criteria.
- →Provide oversight on shipping, inventorying, and packing of blood and blood products.
- →Perform Quality Control and Preventive Maintenance on a daily basis and as required on equipment and instrumentation used.
- →Maintain and assist in establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the donor center.
