About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Bassett Army Community Hospital in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Input schedules and timecards for Defense Health Agency employees.
- →Utilize database software systems to assist employees in the resolution of payroll related problems.
- →Coordinate with employees to obtain pertinent documentation required to resolve payroll issues.
- →Act as the time and attendance point of contact for the Defense Health Agency civilian employees regarding questions and problems related to civilian payroll.
- →Update the master employee record (MER) to maintain accuracy.
- →Analyze historical payroll and time keeping data to detect errors for resolution.
- →Provide technical authority on payroll issues or questions relating to timecard coding and pay issues.
- →Use a variety of office automation systems to produce documents and reports.
