This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Civil Engineer, performing professional engineering work in the preparation of civil, structural, and architectural designs, drawings, and specifications for construction.
What You'll Do
- →Prepares detailed design criteria for new or repair construction of roadways and asphalted areas; Reviews designs, including plans, specifications, and design analyses prepared by architect-engineers for technical adequacy, compliance with Government standards.
- →Provides professional engineering services to all Post activities as needed Makes independent judgments and determines alternatives on economy and requirements when different approaches are available.
