What You'll Do
- →You will compile, update, and maintain existing GIS data.
- →You will manage the GIS environment by performing daily editing tasks within a versioned database.
- →You will assist survey crew with field data collection and processing.
- →You will provide technical advice and guidance to customers to facilitate GIS data collection, publication, and usage.
- →You will create and revise standard or custom cartographic products.
- →You will ensure that the correct and appropriate application of geographic and cartographic concepts and principles are applied to database construction, analyses, and production of high quality digital and hardcopy GIS products.
Requirements
- ✓Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university in the amounts shown below meets the requirements for the position.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
- ✓Two full years of graduate education where it is directly related to the work of the position.
- ✓OR A master's degree that is directly related to the work of the position.
- ✓OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
- ✓All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited institutions.
