About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks in the carpentry and painting trades.
What You'll Do
- →Paint, lacquer, and varnish a variety of surfaces, in compliance with established practices and standards.
- →Prepare a variety surfaces for painting by removing debris, rust, and corrosion.
- →Construct, alter, and repair wooden and wood substitute items and structures.
- →Interpret and apply building plans, specifications, blueprints, sketches, and other guides or codes.
- →Install, repair, and texture drywall.
