As a Business Interface Representative, you will provide expert advice on advanced technology and manage projects to design, develop, and implement technical solutions essential to the operations of the directorate.
What You'll Do
- →Organizing, planning, and creating online content and program applications via Share Point, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft applications to design, create, and maintain the ECN content structure and homepages to include site security and access.
- →Implementing business requirements into systems and data requirements for new development needs, identify the best solutions to challenges with integrating agency governance and best practices to established methods.
- →Creating intricate workflows through SharePoint, Microsoft Power Tools, Microsoft Teams and custom coding to provide technical solutions for workflows, customer forms, data collection/management, document review, lists and libraries, reporting, etc.
- →Representing the Directorate when facilitating and managing life cycle project activities to ensure development initiatives are aligned with directorate-wide management expectations.
- →Providing technical advice, training, and guidance to management officials, users, and internal customers while serving as liaison across many stakeholders on shared initiatives.

- ✓Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S.
- ✓Citizenship and Immigration Services.
- ✓This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
- ✓Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
- ✓Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
- ✓Motor Vehicle Operation: This position requires operation of a motor vehicle.
- ✓You must possess a current valid driver's license.
- ✓EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTION: There is no educational substitution at this grade.
- ✓FDNS systematically identifies updates, and records indicators of fraudulent activities; manages fraud cases; identifies vulnerabilities and other weaknesses that compromise the integrity of the legal immigration system; and coordinates and provides logistical support in law enforcement and national security matters.
- ✓FDNS is the primary conduit for information sharing and collaboration with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
