What You'll Do
- →Functions as a Business Administrator (Trainee) whose position is located in a Financial Management Office of a Federal Correctional Facility.
- →Primary responsibilities include budget formulation and execution, financial management, management of procurement and property functions, oversight of credit card program and serving as the liaison for financial matters with management and executive staff.
- →Manages the operation and maintenance of financial management systems that include accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, procurement and property.
- →Responsible for exercising effective control over financial resources.
- →Serves as liaison with management the institution.
- →Monitors cost center fund balances for the institution and keeps managers informed of the status of the budget.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff's correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this required for this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
