What You'll Do
- →Plan, prepare, review, edit, and consolidate annual and multi-year budget estimates.
- →Recommends options for adjusting estimated funding needs, prepare and edit narrative justifications for adjustments.
- →Analyze budget and/or financial program data to develop annual and multi-year budget estimates.
- →Conducts research, identify, and analyze trends in the use of funds.
- →Assists program managers and staff officials in interpreting the impact of and planning for multi-year financial/budgetary and program changes.
- →Monitors the execution of a budget with many different sources and types of funding such as reimbursements for services performed, and revenue from third party collections.
- →Identify and analyze trends in the receipt, obligation, or expenditure of funds to ensure that objectives of financial plans are being met.
Requirements

- ✓Background Investigation Requirement: This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.

- ✓Upon receipt of instructions, applicants must complete all required background investigation forms within five (5) calendar days of issuance.

- ✓Individuals with substantial delinquent or unresolved financial obligations-including, but not limited to, delinquent federal or state tax liabilities, defaulted federal student loans, court-ordered fines or fees, or child support arrears-may be deemed unsuitable for employment with the Indian Health Service (IHS).
- ✓Prior to the appointment, candidates must present two valid forms of identification.
