What You'll Do
- →The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
- →If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
- →Reviews video footage captured to assess agents' law enforcement performance and ensure law enforcement practices are consistent with policy and approved enforcement plans.
- →BWCC will utilize knowledge of Use of Force techniques and related investigative policies to identify and assess training, tactical or operational safety issues.
- →The BWCC will raise these concerns to field office senior management.
- →The BWCC will partner with field office senior management to recommend potential remediations to the identified issues.
- →Review all enforcement action paperwork such as CI Operation Authorization, Operational Plan, Search Warrant Checklist and Post Enforcement Operation Summary pre & post operation to ensure policy compliance and to identify any issues with equipment or plan implementation.
- →Utilize knowledge of criminal justice practices and procedures to make recommendations to BWC Program Manager regarding ways to adapt, revise or integrate BWC policy to further increase transparency and accountability in policing.
- →Ensures field office management conducts appropriate review/audits of BWC recordings, including the prescribed number of video reviews over each review period.
- →Monitors field office metrics pertaining to BWC recordings to ensure policy compliance and provides senior management with recommendations to improve said metrics.
- →Assists field office management after critical incidents such as incidents involving serious physical injury or death, with collection, uploading and filing of BWC recordings; will coordinate with BWC Program Manager.
- →Responsible for distribution and inventory management of BWC Hardware (BWC, Docking Station, Mounting Equipment) in coordination with field office equipment coordinator.
- →Troubleshoots technology/questions for law enforcement officers, training and certifications of Special Agents in the field office.
- →Manage digital evidence in vendor's cloud-based storage solution; create case files, manage video access and permissions and ensure management hierarchies are current.
Requirements

- ✓Government Credit Card - Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
- ✓Drug Test - Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
