About the Role
About the Position: This position is located within the Directorate of Facility Management at the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, NC. Incumbent will support the Naval Hospital in the diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance of a variety of vehicles and parts utilized at the Hospital.
What You'll Do
- →Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines and transmissions for use at a medical treatment facility.
- →Isolate automotive malfunctions by utilizing visual and auditory examinations in addition to equipment such as computerized engine analyzers, compression testers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
- →Install and repair vehicle components such as gear reductions systems, axle assemblies, and drive lines.
- →Maintain vehicle working order with minor accessories such as wipers, washers, defrosters, and control panel switches.
- →Clean, repair, adjust, and/or replace parts such as floats, pumps, plugs, wiring, and computer control systems.
