What You'll Do

  • As an Audit Liaison Specialist, GS-12 you will perform the following duties: Servicing as an analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs and operations or the productivity as well as efficiency of the management of Federal agencies.
  • Developing, evaluating, and/or implementing policies in assigned program areas, taking, or recommending actions to achieve organizational objectives, and recommending actions for future programs and improvements.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring management information systems that focus on long- and short-range plans, policies and programs to accomplish the objectives and priorities established by statues, executive orders, the Department, or executive management.
  • Ensuring accurate, concise and timely information is available to management and policy officials through briefings, presentations and conferences.

Requirements

  • For GS-11 Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related For GS-12 Education: There is no education substitution for this grade level.
