What You'll Do
- →Attorney's Office is currently seeking to fill Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) positions in the Criminal Division in our St.
- →Louis Office.
- →The Criminal Division is organized into four units: Violent Crime, Narcotics, White Collar, and National Security and Child Exploitation.
- →As a member of the Criminal Division, an attorney is responsible for prosecuting a variety of violations and enforcing federal laws related firearms offenses, drug trafficking, public corruption, terrorism, white collar, organized crime, and crimes against children.
- →Attorneys in the Criminal Division try a large number of cases, conduct proactive investigations using a wide range of investigative tools, and pursue matters involving undercover operations and confidential sources.
- →Additionally, these attorneys research legal issues, draft motions or motion responses, and handle briefing and argument before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
