What You'll Do

  • The Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) will serve in the Fraud section of the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas.
  • Fort Worth offices, one of the largest and most impactful offices in the nation, serving more than 8 million residents and employing approximately 100 prosecutors.
  • As an Assistant United States Attorney in the Fraud Section, you will handle some of the most significant and complex financial crime prosecutions in the country, working within the nation's largest and busiest districts.
  • You will be based in Dallas, at the core of one of the country's most influential center of corporate activity, financial operations, and capital formation.
  • The regions sustained economic momentum and deep corporate infrastructure have positioned it to soon become the third largest metropolitan area in the United States, and that scale is reflected in the volume, sophistication, and significance of the fraud matters handled in this Section.
  • In this position you will investigate, charge, and litigate sophisticated financial crimes, including securities fraud, market manipulation, government program fraud, complex investment schemes fraud, and emerging digital asset offenses.
  • These matters often involve multiple investigative agencies, parallel civil or regulatory proceedings, and significant coordination with national enforcement component's, making them some of the most challenging and impactful fraud cases handled by the Department of Justice.
  • Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
