- →Attorney in the Civil Division.
- →The position will be based in the Beaumont, Plano, Sherman, or Tyler office.
- →Attorneys in the Civil Division represent the United States, its agencies, and their offices, in both defensive and affirmative litigation of claims involving, among other things, health care fraud, environmental matters, defense procurement fraud, torts, administrative enforcement actions, Touhy matters, prisoner litigation, housing and employment discrimination, and disability rights matters.
- →The selected attorney will manage all aspects of civil immigration matters, including gathering evidence, taking testimony, writing briefs, and appearing in court at hearings and trials.
- →The attorney may also handle other types of cases as needed.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
