What You'll Do
- →SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor and assist the Child Development Center Director in the supervision of the day to day operation of a Child Development Center.
- →Assists with the supervision of the Child Development Center to provide specialized developmental childcare and instruction for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
- →The position develops, implements, and administers child development programs; provides an overall safe and healthy environment to stimulate and sustain the interest of children; assists with administration; and organizes the educational and developmental programs managerial authorities.
- →DUTIES: Assists the Child Development Center Director in the daily operations of the Child Development Center.
- →Assists in the administration and evaluation of ongoing programs of individual and group developmental and educational activities for staff implementation and execution.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Provides assistance in the management of funds and resources to include developing the annual NAF and APF budgets, which includes submission and prioritization of program component requirements.
- →Assists the director in the administration of the USDA nutrition/food program.
