About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Fort Dix Aquatic Center, Fort Dix, New Jersey.
What You'll Do
- →Assists the Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Aquatics) the Chief, Outdoor Activities Program, in the economic and efficient operation of the Aquatics facilities and supporting activities in accordance with established procedures.
- →Issues, receives, and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers.
- →Determines cash shortages and overages.
- →Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities.
- →Processes incoming merchandise received for pricing, inventory posting, and display.
- →Records and maintains all sales activities of the Aquatics facilities, snack bar, and gaming area.
- →Monitors inventory to ensure availability and prepare sales records.
- →Provides daily, monthly, and annual sales records to management.
- →Capable of providing accurate information and general instruction regarding facility and equipment usage to ensure protocols are met.
- →Maintains record of and aids in lifeguard training.
- →Plans and prepares marketing request forms to provide to FSS Marketing for ongoing recreational activities, special events, social activities, and other related functions.
- →Performs all other related duties as assigned.
