This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This is an Indefinite Reimbursable WG-8268-11 AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC (SMALL SHOP CHIEF) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2767000 and is part of the MO TASMG Shop. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT.
What You'll Do
- →Oversees and directs the work of the Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Mechanics, WG-8268-10, who are assigned to the shop.
- →Plans and lays out work to be accomplished in the shop, which is then completed by the incumbent and lower graded mechanic(s).
- →Determines approaches, methods and courses of action required to accomplish the mission of the shop in an effective and efficient manner.
- →Devises and maintains plans and records.
- →Possesses the knowledge and skills found at the journeyman level as well as those required for planning, accomplishing, and maintaining a functional shop maintenance program.
- →Manufactures low, medium, and high-pressure hose and tube assemblies per TM requirements or sample including pressure testing of same.
- →Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilizations, and command support exercises.
- →Implements safety regulatory requirements.
- →Ensures that other workers in the shop wear appropriate safety equipment and follow pertinent safety precautions.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
