This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. In addition, ARTs are required to maintain their active membership in the AF Reserve unit where assigned. ARTs receive on average one weekend of military training per month. What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Air Reserve Technician (ART) supervisor exercising technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers on assigned shift, enforcing schedules and directing work priorities over various skilled mechanics.
- →Trains reservist in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.
- →Duties: Plans the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools on a day-to-day or project-by-project basis.
- →Assigns work to individuals and provides technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes.
- →Provides proper guidance and direction, continuous feedback on strengths and weaknesses.

- →Ensures education in, compliance with, and practice of security directives, good safety, and health habits inall work areas Administers the reserve training and associated programs, ensuring consistent standardsthroughout the flight for traditional reservists and ARTs.
