The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially full time and continuing basis. Leader is responsible to both perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensures that subordinates completed assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards.
What You'll Do
- →- Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers.
- →Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area. - Performs work.
- →Performs nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led. - Performs inspections and troubleshooting on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components.
- →Accomplishes operational and maintenance record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair. - Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components.
- →Directs a crew of up to 9 personnel in jacking and leveling of the aircraft. - Acts as the Team Lead responsible for overseeing work on Crash Damaged Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) operations.
